Ron Cordes has enjoyed a 30+ year career in the investment industry. He was a co-founder and CEO of AssetMark (NYSE:AMK), a leading U.S. managed account platform with $119+ billion of AUM, co-authored “The Art of Investing” published by McGraw Hill, and was an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

Since co-founding the Cordes Foundation in 2006 with his wife, Marty, Ron has focused on impact investing and social entrepreneurship and currently serves on the boards of Pathstone, Definiti, and Rebalance Capital. His work in this area has been profiled in an array of publications including the New York Times, Barron’s, FastCompany, Forbes and FORTUNE.

arty Cordes is the Co-Founder of the Cordes Foundation, which she established with her husband, Ron, in 2006 to advance social entrepreneurship and gender-lens investing. As a champion for women’s empowerment, Marty leads the Foundation’s philanthropic efforts to create economic opportunities for women globally.

She serves on the board of the Parrish Art Museum, a cultural destination that celebrates the rich creative legacy of Long Island’s East End and its global impact on art through exhibitions, programs, and innovative engagement.

Previously, Marty built a successful career in banking and held leadership roles with social service organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her prior board affiliations include Freedom from Hunger, Grameen PrimaCare, and Ripple Effect Images, where she worked to address global poverty and advance women’s rights.

Steph Stephenson is a dedicated philanthropist, impact investor, and content creator, all guided by her commitment to sustainable fashion. As co-chair of the Cordes Foundation, she champions ethical fashion and sustainable supply chain initiatives that prioritize transparency and social equity.

Formerly the VP of Marketing at ECOfashion Corp, Steph remains a powerful advocate for conscious consumerism, serving on the Board of Directors for Nest, Brand Advisory Board for Indego Africa, and the Advisory Board of Remake.

Beyond her work, Steph loves traveling to new destinations with her family, exploring NYC’s hidden gems with her toddler, and enjoying the city’s vibrant restaurant scene.

Eric Stephenson is co-chair of the Cordes Foundation, where he supports investments that promote financial inclusion, gender equity, and sustainable solutions. He approaches this role with gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to meaningful change alongside inspiring partners and social entrepreneurs.

In addition to his work with the foundation, Eric serves as managing director of a multi-family office. Previously, he’s been fortunate to help scale impact-focused firms, build mission-aligned portfolios, and serve on boards committed to advancing sustainable finance.

When he’s not working, Eric loves experiencing NYC through the curious eyes of his toddler and finding moments of calm amid the city’s hustle and bustle.
